CANTOR LISA LEVINE, is a nationally known composer, author and recording artist. After earning her BA in Music from UCI she went on to HUC-JIR DFSSM in New York, from where she was ordained in 1989. Her Choral Series is published by Transcontinental Music and her poems appear in the WRJ Torah Commentary, Centennial Covenant Book and Lombardy Voices. Lisa has recorded 8 CD's and published 4 songbooks and her music has been included in over a dozen compilations and is widely recorded. Lisa is the creator and author of "Yoga Shalom" a unique Book/CD/DVD published by URJ/Behrman House Books. Cantor Lisa will be ordained as Rabbinic Pastor through Aleph Alliance for Jewish Renewal in January and continues her work in pastoral care and chaplaincy as well as serving her congregation, Temple Shalom in Chevy Chase, MD.
