Rabbi Shai Specht does not "prescribe" one Jewish movement or another, and draws insight from all. He specializes in music and family education, Kabbalah and Hazanut.
Rabbi Shai offers a range of services, from spiritual counseling/healing to spiritual and motivational workshops, Prayer/Healing services to officiating weddings (including interfaith), funerals, baby namings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. He has 20 years of experience as a Jewish Educator and Musician/Cantor.
Rabbi Shai has recorded and produced three children's albums. He also recorded an exclusive contemporary adult Jewish album ("Ma Tovu - songs for Shabbat") with Artemis records. Rabbi Shai 's provocative Dance/Club version of the famous Jewish prayer "Avinu Malkeinu," has raised quite a few eye brows around the world. Rabbi Shai draws upon many influences, but has a unique energy and appeals to a wide range of audiences, of all ages. His understanding and proven abilities, lure one in with a sense of intimacy and excitment.
Rabbi Shai's education spans the gamut: Israeli public school, the prestigious King David High School in Manchester England, and a Tucson Arizona school. He holds an MAed from Prescott College in Arizona, Judaic Studies and Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on the Expressive Arts and Cantorial studies. Rabbi Shai comes from a long line of Rabbi's (including the Maharal of Prague), Cantors and Educators.
