Scholar-in-Residence Weekends
|
Lisa is creates an interesting and varied weekend of programs beginning with an engaging Friday Night worship experience. Working with cantors, soloists, bands, guitar ensembles, drumming groups and choirs of all ages, her songleading style encourcorates congregational participation and empowers and inpsires as she prepares them to present her Friday Evening Service "Soulful Shabbat." Adding on to the the weekend, Lisa leads her inspirational, prayerful, renewing and relaxing "Yoga Worship" experience. Rounding out the weekend, Lisa presents a choice of several concerts: "The Jewish Gospel Experience" , "Mis Canciones" My Songs for the Jews of Cuba with narrative about her recent concerts in Cuba, an interesting collection of Ladino, Yiddish, Cantorial and Hebrew songs appropriate for people of all ages. She also has a programs entitled "Bible to Broadway" and "Broadway Bound" which are a most entertaining offering of crowd-pleasing favorites.
Lisa also song leads in religious schools engaging children from grades K - 12.
