Oneg Shemesh grew up in Israel on Moshav Mevo Modiim, founded by the late Rebbe Shlomo Carlebach, Z"L. He had the great privilege of spending much time with the Rebbe, accompanying him on guitar and drawing from his wealth of knowledge.
