Abby Gostein currently crafts her songs in Austin Texas, where she is Cantor of Temple Beth Shalom, a Union of Reform Judaism-affiliated congregation. She has composed award-winning Jewish liturgical music that has been published in Transcontinental Music Publications octavos and anthologies. Her music is well-suited for congregational and volunteer choir participation. She has also written secular folk music and has led groups of all ages in prayer and song since 1985. Abby got her start in Jewish music with her musical family and their synagogue in Mt. Vernon, NY. She continued on her Jewish musical path at Camp Kutz in NY and Eisner in MA, and went on to songlead for Camp Shwayder in CO and Greene Family Camp in TX. She has served congregations cantorially since 1995. She would love to share her music with you!
