Judith Silver
Judith is a British composer, singing leader and interfaith musician. She cites Joni Mitchell and James Taylor as early influences and over the years, as she's gradually moved closer and closer to her Jewish roots and become inspired by our texts and tradition, many other inspirations have emerged.
Two of her songs were selected for the Shalshelet Festival in New York in 2010 - Gesher and B'rich Rachamana - and are included in the songbook/CD of that festival. Two more - Angel Blessing and Oseh Shalom - were selected in 2016. Her Gospel-influenced 'Open' is, with Gesher, probably her best-known and most widely shared song to date.
