Robin Greenstein
Robin Greenstein is a singer-songwriter and song interpreter performing both original and traditional folk music. Based in NYC, she plays both banjo and guitar and has a wide repertoire in both Jewish and non-Jewish music. From 1978-1980, she was chosen to receive a federal CETA grant to do music research for the American Jewish Congress in Jewish folk music. It was the first time in decades that the federal government tried giving grants to artists to work at creative jobs 9-5. Thus was born the Ladino Music Project.

Robin sings in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino and is working on a multi-cultural Dec. holiday album of which "Celebrate Hanukkah" will be part. She does various Jewish music programs and has led Tot services in the NY metro area.

Robin was a clinician for famed Martin Guitars and has a B.A. in music from SUNY-Stony Brook. As a songwriter, she got her start when she was signed to Bob Dylan's publishing company. She has 4 recordings out of original and folk music as well as a children's recording called "Art Is A Language". When not on the road, she teaches privately in the New York area. "Celebrate Hanukkah" is her first Jewish composition written for children and families. Enjoy!
