“Rockin’ Robbi” has established herself as one of the most energetic female touring Jewish performers today. From Tulsa to Tel Aviv, Robbi’s spirited Jewish songcrafting and original Jewish-themed music are sung throughout the world in camps, synagogues, JCCs and beyond. Combine an eclectic Jewish upbringing (she's an Air Force Brat), camp songleading experience and the addition of outstanding musicians and bandmates and you'll get fun, singable, yet sophisticated songs outstandingly produced in "the Live Music Capital of the World," Austin, Texas. Robbi's musical energy is legendary- both onstage and on her two CDs, Todah LaChem (Thanks, Y'all!) and Aish HaKodesh (The Holy Fire). She has performed and collaborated with the top Jewish names music today: Debbie Friedman, Peter Yarrow, David Amram, Billy Jonas, Sam Glaser, Julie Silver, Mah Tovu, Yom Hadash….. the list goes on and on. Along with music partners Steve Brodsky and Scott Leader, Robbi is a member of the band, Sababa! (“cool” in Hebrew), which has been called a Jewish “supergroup.” (See Sababa! on oySongs)
A reviewer at Hadassah Magazine named her album Aish HaKodesh (the Holy Fire) "one of the Top 10 of 2005." The Jerusalem Post recently said: "Aish HaKodesh is mid-tempo feel-good adult rock.... exploring traditional Jewish texts with a generous dose of American spiritual awakening." ).
