Songs and sounds that come from the heart - this is the essence of Shir Balev, whose unique musical styling and vocal harmonies provide a fresh approach to contemporary Jewish music. Since 2001, Linda Matorin Sweenie, Glenn Philips and Randy Deutch have led worship and other musical programs at congregations throughout the Midwest. Linda served 12 years as the Music Director at Congregation Beth Torah in Overland Park, KS, and is currently the Music Director at Temple B'nai Israel in Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to Shir Balev, the trio performs regularly at secular venues in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma under the name One Eye Doxie. Their CDs include Glass Half Full (2003), and In Case I Forget to Tell You (2014).
