Scott Leader
Scott Leader is one of the most sought after performers of original Jewish rock and folk music. His music is featured at many synagogues across the US. Scott began playing Jewish music in high school as a song leader for NFTY while growing up in New Jersey. In college, at the University of Arizona, he continued by teaching music at Temple Emanu-El in Tucson with friend and music partner Billy Tiep. Scott and Billy wrote secular and Jewish songs together and played concerts across the US by themselves and with Robbi Sherwin.

After graduating in 1998, Scott was a science teacher at the Austin Jewish Community Day School in Austin, TX. He then went on to be the Director of Camp Isaiah in Los Angeles, California, a cantorial soloist at Temple Sinai, Denver, CO, and now is traveling across the country performing concerts and leading services. In addition, Scott is producing music for top Jewish artists out of the world class Southwest Studios, in Phoenix, AZ. (www.southweststudios.com)

The release of "Lift My Eyes" is the first full length project of Scott's original work. It has received excellent reviews and some tracks have been feature on national compilation CD's. "Gates," his sophomore effort, has music that has quickly spread across country and has also received excellent national reviews.

Scott has appeared in concert with Sam Glaser, Yom Hadash, Craig Taubman, Robbi Sherwin, Mah Tovu, Noah Budin, Jeff Klepper, Stacy Beyer, and others. He produced albums for many other Jewish artists including Rabbi Larry Karol, Rabbi Larry Bach, Ross M. Levy, Todd Herzog, Steve Meltzer, Sababa!, Joe Roff, Peter and Ellen Allard, Bryan Zive, Emily Aranoff, and more!
