Harley Rothstein is a Canadian educator, writer, and musician. He has a PhD in the History of Education and has conducted extensive research in the development of alternative schools in Canada. Having taught music at Vancouver elementary schools for over a decade, Harley also taught music education and supervised student teachers at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Education.
As a musician, he has performed extensively in various genres including folk, rock, and Jewish liturgical music. He recently recorded and released two albums of folk music and another of Jewish sacred music.
