Lil Rev
Lil Rev is an Award-Winning Multi-Instrumentalist, Music Historian, Singer Songwriter, and Storyteller from Wisconsin.

Rabbi Larry Milder dubbed him “the Jewish Pete Seeger.” Known for his enthusiastic delivery of both original and traditional tunes, his shows are becoming well-known for their joyous, participatory nature. Rev places a strong emphasis on spending time with and honoring our community elders.

He has been a music director at Milwaukee Jewish Day School, as well as a College Adjunct lecturer at The University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.

His repertoire is folk-based, spanning many styles ranging from Yiddish and Hebrew classics to Blues, Ragtime, Tin Pan Alley, originals, and folk favorites, all played skillfully on banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and harmonica.

His many awards include Best Folksinger in Wisconsin in 2004 (WAMI), inducted into the Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame in 2003, and the 1996 National Blues Harmonica Champion.
He is the author of the Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book #1 and DVD.
