Eric Komar
Eric Komar is among the freshest voices on the Jewish music scene. An accomplished singer, songwriter, and guitarist, he has nearly two decades of experience songleading with groups of all ages. At age 17, he won the NFTY Song Competition with "Shalom L'Yisrael" (on the album NFTY: 50 Years in the Making). Today Eric performs and presents Jewish music workshops nationwide, including CAJE and URJ Biennial conventions.

Inspirational songwriting and skillful guitar playing are showcased on Eric's album "Notes From the Underground." Its featured song, peace anthem "Lo Yisa Goi," is in Transcontinental Music's Shabbat Anthology, Vol. 1 and on A.R.E. Publishing's Audio Sampler, Vol. 1. His song "L'cha Adonai" is featured in Transcontinental Music's Nigun Anthology, Vol. 1.

January 2007 marks the release of Eric's much-anticipated second album, "Two Life."

Eric currently lives in New Jersey with his wife Dalia, their baby son Noah, and their three cats. In addition to being a religious school music specialist, he works in the field of music publishing and teaches guitar.
