Sheryl Braunstein has released her first album, "The Dove", an inspirational collection of original, contemporary Jewish music. The listener is carried away by her angelic voice and beautiful, sometimes haunting, melodies. Sheryl's, "Y'varech'cha" ("Holy One Please Bless Us"), is featured in two of Craig Taubman's "Celebrate Series" CDs, "The World is a Narrow Bridge", and "The Best of the Celebrate Series". It also appears in Congregation Or Ami's, "Shiray Refuah, Songs 0f Healing". Sheryl also regularly performs in the James Taylor tribute band, "Taylor Made", throughout the Los Angeles area (www.TaylorMade-band.com).
Over the last several years, Sheryl has been singing solo at and helping to lead worship services at Congregation Or Ami in Calabasas, CA. Along with Cantor Doug Cotler, Rabbi Paul Kipnes, Rabbi Julia Weisz, and the Or Ami Chorale, she has found joy singing contemporary Jewish spiritual music as well as sharing her own musical compositions.
