Marge Eiseman came to the contemporary Jewish music scene through CAJE, the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education and the Rosh Chodesh Havurah of Congregation Sinai in Milwaukee. It was in the safety of the Rosh Chodesh group, and in honor of some life cycle events in that group that her songwriting began.
Her national debut came at the CAJE Conference closing program in 2001 in Fort Collins, CO, where, backed by Rabbi Joe Black, Josh and Jon Nelson, Beth Schafer and Doug Cotler, Marge performed "Lo BaShamayim Hee" to rave reviews! Since then, she's been performing at every CAJE Conference, travelling around the country to congregations teaching about Rosh Chodesh groups, women's spirituality, excellence in teaching and ALWAYS singing her songs!
